• A 2 day birding tour is ideal for those seeking to combine an interest in countryside & forest birds of Cambodia with a variety of species as the top birds in this kingdom. Our tour began in the countryside of Phnom Penh where we headed up to the Mekong River, lotus ponds and enjoy good views of several wetland birds and especially the top bird around Phnom Penh such as Cambodian Tailorbird, Oriental Pratincole, Brown Shrike, Black shoulder kite, Chinese Pond Heron, Zebra Dove, Indian Roller, Greet Bee-Eater, White-breasted waterhen, Purple Swamphen, Pheasant-Tailed Jacana, Bronze winged jacana, little cormorant, little ringed plover, Whimbrel, Cattle Egret, Javan Pond-Heron, Common Snipe, Common Greenshank , Darter, Pied kingfisher, Collared kingfisher, Ashy Drongo, Coppersmith Barbet and a numerous of wetland birds. We also seek community based ecotourism and take a step to see more of forest birds after we had overnight stay and experience with local people at these communities. Our top birds in Chambok Community Based Ecotourism are concluded with Chinese Francolin, Common Flameback, Black-naped Oriole, Ashy Drongo, Greater Racket Tailed, Forest wagtail, White rumped Shama, Red-whiskered Bulbul, Puff-throated Babbler, White-crested Laughingthrush, Dark-necked Tailorbird, Blue-eared Barbet, Black- naped Monarch, Mountain Imperial- pigeon and a numerous of the forest birds.
